Clay Sculpting in Chester
Shape it. Sculpt it. Make it yours.
Discover clay sculpting at Pictura Chester. Whether you’re trying clay for the first time or you already enjoy getting creative, our self-guided sculpting experience gives you what you need to bring an idea to life.
Make something of your own
Create animals, characters, decorative pieces, keepsakes or completely original designs using high-quality clay and a selection of sculpting tools. Take your time, enjoy a coffee, pizza or sweet treat, and make something with your own hands.
Once you’ve finished, choose how you’d like to complete your creation. Take it home to air-dry, or have us glaze and kiln-fire it for a ceramic finish.
It suits families, friends, couples and solo makers.
A café table booking is two hours, whatever you’re making.
Walk-in price
Walk-in clay sculpting starts at £20.
You can also pre-order so the table is ready when you sit down. We use air-drying clay. Choose a standard clay pack for free-form making, or an air-drying clay kit for children, with step-by-step instructions and materials for pre-designed shapes. Buy the pack or kit and leave a note at checkout with the date and time of your reservation.
Pack and kit prices are not published as a session price. They are arranged in the studio.
Parties
Children’s parties include clay sculpting with air-dry clay, and each child takes their piece home the same day. That package is priced on the children’s parties page. It is not the walk-in price above.
