Visiting
Do I need to book?
Walk-ins are welcome, subject to availability. Online booking is recommended, especially at weekends and in school holidays. Book a table.
Is there a booking fee?
There’s a £5 per person booking fee, which is only charged if you don’t show up without cancelling.
What are your opening hours?
We’re closed on Mondays. We’re open Tuesday to Friday from 10am to 6pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 5pm.
Do I need any experience?
Not at all. Our activities are designed for complete beginners through to the more advanced, from children to adults, and our team is on hand to help.
How long is a studio session?
All sessions are 2 hours, in the available slots.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes! Just make sure they’re friendly, house-trained and on a lead.
Can I bring my own food or drinks?
We offer teas, coffees, soft drinks, milkshakes and food in our café, so please don’t bring outside drinks to daytime sessions. Our evening BYOB events are the exception – you’re welcome to bring your own drinks (over-18s only). For Mini Arty Parties you’re welcome to bring your own cake and treats.
Pottery & collection
How much does pottery painting cost?
You pay for the piece you choose; pieces start from £18. Browse our pottery.
When can I pick up my pottery?
After painting, we glaze and fire your piece, which usually takes about 4 weeks. We keep finished pottery for 2 weeks, and after that we’ll get in touch with you. Please wait for your collection email; it will explain the next steps for picking up your pottery. If you have questions, contact us.
Can I prepay for pottery?
Yes – if you have a table reservation you can prepay for items online so they’re ready on your table when you arrive. Prepaid items are held for a maximum of 2 weeks. Pottery not completed during your reservation goes back on the shelf, and 50% of the price is kept as a holding fee, with the remaining 50% refunded to your original payment method.
Do you ship items?
No, we don’t ship items from our online shop.
Parties, events & gifts
How many people can come to a Mini Arty Party?
Up to 10 guests. For bigger groups, see our children’s and adult parties.
Are BYOB evenings for adults only?
Yes, our BYOB Pottery Evenings are for over-18s. Your ticket secures your seat; you choose and pay for your pottery on the night.
Do you sell gift vouchers?
Yes – buy a gift voucher online.
Do you do corporate events?
Yes. Minimum 10 people. Prices depend on the activity you choose, so get in touch for a quote. See our corporate packages.
