In the studio
Private party area on the first floor of Pictura, 5 Eastgate Row North. A limited number of parents can stay. Seating is limited, so many families drop off and collect at the end. Stairways and exits need to stay clear.
Studio or we come to you · Up to 25 guests · Parties of 10 from £310
All the fun, none of the mess at home
Art parties led by qualified art teachers, in our Chester studio or brought to your home or venue. The Art School FAQ says parties are for ages 4–16. The sensory package on the same page is listed for ages 3–8. No experience needed. Every child leaves with something they made.
Birthdays and special days. Most packages are priced for 10 children, with extra children at the rate on that package. The studio holds up to 25 guests. A larger party at a venue you have found is a quote.

The same party at home or at your venue. We handle set-up and tidy-up. Mobile parties start from £400 for 10 children. The pottery wheel taster is studio only.
A qualified art teacher, all materials, set-up and tidy-up, and artwork for every child. Staff are fully insured and DBS checked. Food, cake, cutlery and party bags are not included, unless you book the party food option. You can bring your own food and cake.
How the two hours run
Parties are quoted for 2 hours, including a 30-minute break if you bring food. If you are not bringing food, the party can be 90 minutes and the cost is reduced at checkout. The Art School page does not say by how much. [TBC: saving for a 90-minute party with no food, enquire]
These times are on the priced children’s parties page.
You can decorate the party area up to 30 minutes beforehand if the room is free. Tell us about allergies at least 2 weeks before. A 25% deposit secures the date and is non-refundable. The balance and final numbers are due 14 days before. The terms also say the balance is due 2 weeks before. Moving the date has no administration fee.
Children stay the responsibility of the adults who remain. We lead the art. Aprons are provided. Clothes that can take a splash are a good idea. Tell us in advance about any additional needs so we can support the group.
The party food option is named on the booking terms. No price is published. [TBC: party food option price, enquire]
These prices are from The Art School menu page for children’s arty parties. Each row is a party of 10. Extra children are £14 each, unless the row says otherwise. Mini Arty Party prices are separate and are not listed here.

The menu item “Children’s Arty Parties” goes to the priced page used above. Another public page, also titled children’s arty parties, does not list those package prices. It says packages are based on 10 children, from £310, for up to 25 guests, and that parties are for ages 1–16. It lists Saturdays at 3.30pm and Sundays at 11am or 2.30pm, with no end time. It names pottery painting (5–16), canvas painting (5–16), a slimy party (6–16) and decoupage (8–16). It says pottery is ready to collect in up to two weeks. It also says packages include a decorated private area, games and treats, tea or coffee for the birthday child’s parents, and a choice of music. We don’t run a polymer clay party. Activities on that page are not priced on their own.
The booking widget is not connected yet. The box below is empty so the Bookeo embed can be pasted in. Off-site parties are arranged with us directly, not through the widget.
Mini Arty Parties for smaller café groups use different prices and stay on the main parties page.
